BECOME A VOLUNTEER IN YOUR DELEGATION l

 

Volunteers help us find new sponsors for our godchildren in Asia, retain sponsors and organize a whole bunch of events to raise funds for specific projects (rehabilitation, construction, etc.)

One Day in the Life Child tribes thrives mainly through word of mouth.

 

Our goal is to organize a network throughout France and beyond.

All talents are required for various missions:

 

Proofreading of reports and financial statements, creation of communication supports, administrative tasks and "little hands" for the enveloping, reception, sending of parcels, data entry, webmaster support, social media management, organization of events in favor of the association ...

 

The idea is simple: rather than investing in expensive communication campaigns, rather than paying street vendors, rather than printing 4x3m advertisements, Un jour dans la vie Tribes Child encourages its godmothers and godparents to talk around them about the joy of sponsorship.
The goal is not to do sales canvassing, but simply to share this simple, effective and joyful way to help a child with relatives.

 

Find our very dynamic teams and participate in their actions near you, they will be happy to meet you! If you want to donate some of your time, your talents, as a volunteer, join your delegation near you.

Nobody near you? Delegation near you, you will not be alone to undertake an initiative!

BECOME A COMPANY / SPONSOR PARTNER

 

By becoming a partner or sponsor of Un jour dans la vie tribes child, you help the children of the tribes to live in better conditions. Un jour dans la vie tribes child communicates about its partnerships via the website, social networks and the monthly newsletter. We invite you to send us any idea, any suggestion of contact likely to make us better known, or to sponsor our action, so that Un jour dans la vie tribes child can welcome more children and develop its activities.

BECOME AN ACTIVE MEMBER

 

Your member status allows you to attend the Annual General Meeting and vote on resolutions (via videoconference)

CONDITIONS TO BECOME A VOLUNTEER

​

OF ANY AGE, ANY EXPERIENCE, THE CONDITIONS ARE VERY SIMPLE:

​

Have a regular time to make available to the association (ex: 1 day per week, 3 days per month ...) during the week, on weekends, in televolunteering

Work in collaboration with the Ambassador of your region or your department.

 

Have basic or expert computer skills (minimum office automation)

Have the will to serve a magnificent work: the education of children in Thailand!

BECOME A VOLUNTEER IN FRANCE AND ABROAD

 

BECOME A JUNGLE VOLUNTEER

 

You can become a Jungle volunteer via 2 types of missions:

​

Short missions and long missions within our Baan Tribes Child. Discover, participate and apply for our project.

​

Short missions, they are generally of a duration of 1 to 3 months. The activities during these short missions are varied and depend on the needs of the moment.

 

Long missions

​

The Jungles One Day in the Life Tribes Child are young single or married (with or without children). The missions entrusted to families with children nevertheless remain quite limited. Aged 20 to 35, the Jungles give at least a year of their life as part of a student or professional gap. The Jungles leave as part of the International Solidarity Volunteering.

 

To leave a year with A day in the life Tribes Child, it is:

​

To serve education. We prioritize your knowledge of being and your human skills over your professional or academic career.

 

Become the link in a great chain of solidarity. By becoming Jungle, you take over from an old Jungle or you will be positioned in a new position and you will train your successor. Your mission will continue after your return.

 

You will forge strong links with our local managers. You will never act alone, your action will be at the service of our local leaders who give part of their lives for the poorest. Listening humbly to needs, taking the time to love before helping.

​

A job description for your mission: You will be in direct and regular contact with the permanent staff at the head office in Thailand who will coordinate with you the development of your area.

 

During this year you breathe adventure. Tuk tuk, pirogues, collective taxis, motorcycles, bicycles and other exotic transport, night in the tribes

You will experience strong emotions!

 

Meeting the children and their families will mark you forever: their smiles, the harshness of their daily lives, their courage and their determination.

 

You will take responsibility. Management of the center, organize an orientation forum, open sponsorship programs, monitor the repair or construction of a school ...
